Inside Out is a regional current affairs programme broadcast on Monday evenings on BBC1 in the English regions. The first series was broadcast in September 2002.
Featured items are usually of a local interest - rural or urban regeneration, political changes, as well as human interest and lifestyle items. The programme is normally cross-promoted during the main evening local news programme early in the evening, and is presented by somebody who is connected with the region.
Inside Out is not broadcast in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.
