CBeebies
CBeebies is a British television channel produced by the BBC and aimed at children 6 years and under. Launched on 11 February 2002, the station broadcasts from 06:00 to 19:00 each day on Freeview (where it shares bandwidth with BBC Four, broadcast after 19:00), cable, IPTV and digital satellite. There are also regular slots of CBeebies programming on BBC One and BBC Two. An audio counterpart, CBeebies Radio, broadcasts for 3 hours everyday on BBC 7 from 14:00 to 17:00.
CBBC is its sister strand for older children - it is from this that the CBeebies brand and programming come from - before 2002, CBBC catered for pre-school children as well.
