S4C: 2007: A New Direction
After 14 years, the theme of dragons depicted in everyday objects was replaced by 'a new direction' in the presentational theme of idents on S4C. In preparation for digital switchover - and therefore the end of the dual Welsh and English service, supported by Channel 4 programming - S4C introduced a wholly different, but no less Welsh theme to its presentation.
From 1st January to 16th January, temporary idents were used which gave a nod towards what was to come for the new presentation on the station.
