North East Tonight: December 2009-
North East Tonight (together with Lookaround) became the seventh ITV plc regional news programme to adopt the new ITV News branding for their bulletins, on Thursday 10 December 2009. The pan-regional Tyne Tees & Border News bulletins also received a makeover.
The first programme to use the new package was presented by Kate Fisher and Ian Payne.
