As with ITV1, Scottish and Grampian designed 'generic' idents, particularly for use before serious or news programming.
Towards the end of the run for this particular era in presentation, these were used more and more in preference to the celebrity idents.
Promos and other presentation on Grampian and Scottish continued to be of a unified design.














For the first few months after the relaunch on 6 January 2003, all promos were branded with 'Scottish tv' and 'Grampian tv' -- however, they were soon replaced by unbranded ones, featuring the generic four blue squares.
